Self Build sustainable sculpture
RUSS SElf build sustainable sculpture
A collaborative project between the sculptor Molly Okell, architect Sarah Boyd and the residents of 12 Church Grove exploring creative conceptions of construction.
The ambition of this project is to initiate a sculpture that celebrates RUSS, the Community Land Trust development and the self build/self finish process past, present and future.
sarah Boyd
Sarah’s long-standing interest in community led housing, informs her most recent printmaking practice as well as the development of concepts for cast sculpture, revealing perceived chaotic, hidden elements and processes.
