Title: Fabricated Green Medium: Steel & Pigment Dimensions: 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm
I am exploring the boundaries between the natural surface of the steel and the imposed texture and colour. The fragility of the material is represented by a thin cut in the steel allowing a shaft of light through. While the curved shape appears like a defensive wall turned slightly inwards giving the structure strength and beauty.
